CAC Midrange Wet Clays
Clay Art Center has many different options for clay bodies in the Cone 4-6 firing range. Our Oregon and Idaho series of Stoneware clays are exceptionally popular as are our English Grolleg and NZ porcelain bodies. If you’re a sculptor perhaps try one of our heavily grogged bodies such as Akio. Our midrange clays and glazes are formulated to provide the best performance at Cone 5 and as always we recommend utilizing witness cones in all firings to ensure kiln performance.
We ship clays exclusively via USPS Flat Rate, 2 25# BAGS of clay will fit in a single Large Flat Rate Box and we can ship to Hawaii/Alaska for the same price as shipping local. Local delivery (1000lb minimum) and freight are additional options for larger orders.
