A heavy grogged, coarse clay that is excellent for large sculpture, architectural ceramics and outdoor planters.

Clay Art Center’s AKIO is a great commercial clay body for Architectural Ceramics use. Peter King, author of the book “ARCHITECTURAL CERAMICS for the Studio Potter” says, “It is both very plastic and very tough.
