Peter Pugger Raku Kilns

Featuring an innovative clam shell design, Peter Pugger raku kilns offer a well designed solution to solo firings. No need to worry about lifting a heavy chamber over red-hot kiln shelves or damaging product as a result. Peter Pugger raku kilns feature a clamshell design, both sides open independently allowing quick access to the kiln shelves with only one person.

The fully insulated fiber walls and a soft brick floor allows the kiln to heat and cool rapidly, eliminating the need to preheat. Roll the kiln to a safe location, complete a firing cycle within 30-45 minutes and roll it back into storage. It’s that simple! An optional upgrade to a BASO gas valve with safety shut off is available.

Kilns require a SPECIAL ORDER from the manufacturer. Special order lead times vary but expect a minimum of 6-8 weeks.
