Burnish/Polish/Buff with your hand a burnishing stone or a plastic bag to bring out the natural sheen.

Alternatively, Clay Art Center Classic Terra Sigillatas can be used as a engobe all the way up to cone 10, use them to deposit color or highlight textures. Terra Sigillata will lose it’s characteristic sheen if fired greater than cone 2.
