Iridescent Blue is a blue grey color when applied thin, and metallic black when thick. This glaze has a iridescent/metallic sheen which is very attractive. Not recommended for food contact surfaces.
Available mixed in our standard brushing formulation and also available dry for dipping.
Fires from Cone 4-6. Lead free.

My first try with this one was disappointing after having nice results on buff clay with Irid Green . when fired at ^5 color died and was hard to apply evenly over texture. Will look for other options to use this glaze such as white smooth clay and ^6 or some layering.

We definitely recommend applying this glaze with at least 3 coats for the best results. Thin application will yield weaker colors, the color of the clay will impact this as well. Hope your next try turns out the way you want!
