SCOTT CREEK POTTERY – SC040 – 4″ EXTRUDER TEST TILE DIE

Any serious potter does just as much testing of their materials as they do producing finished pieces. That’s why we made a new die to help with the production side of testing. This is the same die style that we’ve been using for glaze testing for years, on a 4″ extruder this die will produce one long strip of test tile shapes that you then slice into 1″ wide tiles. Laser cut out of 1/8″ stainless steel these dies are made to last and will work well even with porcelains. Tile extrusion is 3.5″ tall and just over 1.5″ wide at the base.
