A higher temp version of Bennet Welsh’s cone 6 clay body. A very high quality clay body when fired, good strength and resiliency makes Welsh an excellent production clay body. It has nice working properties, handle attachments, throwability, etc. Light tan when reduced and off-white in oxidation. Lightly grogged with a semi-smooth texture. Cone 8-11.
